Over the first nine months of our operations, the overall number of controlled movements have decreased, both in overflights and at airports. Four category B incidents were recorded.
During the first nine months of 2019, we observed the following results (which we compare with the same period in 2018):
skeyes controlled a total of 826,865 movements (-2.7%), with the following trends:
- decrease at CANAC 2 centre (451,792 movements, -3.4%);
- decrease at Brussels Airport (182,739 movements, -0.7%);
- decrease at all regional airports: Antwerp (39,793 movements, -12.1%), Charleroi (74,854 movements, -0.1%), Liège (44,313 movements, -0.5%) and Ostend (33,374 movements, -1.6%).
Aviation safety: four category B incidents were recorded.
The delay per en-route flight is 0.96 minute.
In terms of delay per flight for arrivals a decrease was recorded at Charleroi airport (0.00 min/flight) and an increase was recorded at Brussels Airport (0.09 min/flight) and Liège Airport (0.03 min/flight).
No delays for arrivals were recorded at the airports of Antwerp and Ostend.
En-route service units are down (-0.7%), but service units are up for the terminal (+1.1%).
